Is it time again to tell yourself, “I love my loved one”?
I understand. It is hard to be a caregiver, especially caring for a loved one with Alzheimer’s or any other form of dementia.
After all, your loved one seems to demand that you be there all the time. So WHY does everyone else seem to be the “good guy,” except you?
Will it always be that way? Is there anything you can do?
YES – you can get help. My guest on Saturday is an expert in caring for patient with Alzheimer’s and other memory disorders. I asked her to join us to give advice to all caregivers of those with these diseases.
Francine Parfitt is Director of the Memory Disorders Clinic at Mayo Hospital in Jacksonville. She works with these patients every day. She leads research on this important disease.
