The Art of Finding Balance as a Caregiver

Do you like watching those Olympic gymnasts?

What do you think when one stumbles and fall off? Do you feel bad?

Or, do you think – “That is just like my life. Always trying to balance, and always falling off.”

It is so hard to find balance as a caregiver, isn’t it? There is work on one side, family on the other side, your loved one in front, Your own needs trail way in back. If you fall¸ you always fall forward.

Sometimes you just need someone to listen…really listen.

That is what Mary Jane Cronin had been doing. Mary Jane will talk about her work on “Toula’s Tips for Caregivers” this Saturday at 11AM.

Mary Jane wants to listen to you.

Mary Jane worked at Suncoast Hospice in Pinellas County, FL, as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor for ten years. She saw that family members of the patients often showed signs of caregiver fatigue. Taking that “leap of faith” in February 2015, Mary Jane opened her own counseling office, Cronin Counseling and Coaching, in Largo FL to help caregivers.
